Controller Overclock

A controller overclock refers to increasing the polling rate of a game controller beyond its default setting to reduce input lag. Polling rate is how often the controller reports its input to the system (measured in Hz). For example, raising the rate from 125Hz to 1000Hz means the controller sends updates 1000 times per second, resulting in faster and more responsive input—especially useful in competitive gaming.
