Motion for Order Denying the Reopening of Discovery

Use this as an example when you need an order/ruling signed to stop the reopening of a discovery period once it has closed; either by a previously issued scheduling order or discovery deadline as per the applicable civil rules.  Sometimes when your first trial date has come and gone and you are still waiting for another trial setting, you may want to make sure your opponents don't serve you with more discovery.  This motion can help you obtain an order to that effect.
