IPTN N-2130 — 3D Assets (OBJ + STEP + 3MF + GLB) Blender Artist Pack CFM-56 & PW-6000 version)
IPTN N-2130 — 3D CAD Restoration Project (2025 Edition)
This is a full 3D CAD restoration of the IPTN N-2130, the ambitious Indonesian 100–130-seat jetliner project from the 1990s that never reached prototype flight. The model is rebuilt from the ground up using:
- Surviving brochure diagrams
- IPTN promotional mockups
- Engineering sketches
- The few remaining technical references available publicly
- The goal is not just to “model” the aircraft — but to digitally revive a project that almost vanished from aerospace history.
- Two engine configurations are included based on IPTN’s original proposals:
- CFM56-5 series
- PW6000 series
- Both are modeled with smooth, aerodynamic CAD lofts suitable for visualization or engineering workflows.
The N-2130 was:
- Indonesia’s first attempt at entering the global jetliner market
- A natural evolution of IPTN’s CN-235 and N-250 experience
- Designed with contemporary Western aerodynamic standards
- But when the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis struck, support for the program collapsed. Despite the aircraft being in an advanced design stage, the N-2130 was cancelled before a prototype was built.
Today, only a few brochure scans, scale models, and concept drawings survive. This project aims to preserve that lost ambition. Wings, nacelles, and proportions that show IPTN’s engineering maturity Reconstructing the aircraft in 3D reveals details the public never saw — subtle loft transitions, nacelle curvature, and aerodynamic geometry that were far ahead for its era. This project is not cool because the N-2130 flew. It’s cool because it almost did.
This aircraft is imagined as:
- A tribute to Indonesia’s aerospace ambitions
- The entire model is engineered in SolidWorks using true NURBS lofted surfaces, giving it wind-tunnel-grade smoothness and precise aerodynamic form.
- Every external surface — wings, fuselage, nacelles, empennage — is crafted using parametric engineering lofts suitable for 3D printing, rendering, CFD study, and RC design.
What You Can Do With These Packs
Depending on the pack you choose, you can:
- 3D print the aircraft
- Build RC laser-cut models
- Perform CAD or CFD analysis
- Render it in Blender
- Create posters, stickers, and merch
- Study the engineering form
This product line is divided into clear “factory-floor” production tiers for different users: 3D printers, CAD engineers, RC builders, artists, and hobbyists.
