This is a PDF file of a pattern for a knitted shawl. I knit this shawl using hand spun 2 ply lace weight yarn. The pattern and Ravelry page has suggestions for specific yarn substitutes you can use. The fiber I used was a Merino/Tencel blend. I used US knitting needles size 3. I used about 1,800 yards at about 150g.
The finished piece is about 24" x 72". The shawl is made using Orenburg construction and motifs for this. The center section is patterned on both sides of the knitting but it is only a 4 row repeat. This and the use of multiple charts at a time make it an intermediate skill level to knit.
