Emily and the Shared Story

Emily is a shy ninth grader who hopes to make a new friend at her high school. One day, a friendly girl named Sophie from her class asks for help understanding some difficult words in her thick fantasy book. Emily knows the story well because her older sister gave her the exact same copy last year. The two girls met in the library and spent study hall reading together, and a wonderful new friendship begins.
