Australian Regional Student Funding Opportunity — Up to A$9,000+
A high-value education funding opportunity for eligible Year 12
students from regional and remote Australian public schools who plan
to begin full-time university or TAFE study in 2027.
Eligible students may receive up to A$3,000 per year for up to 3 years
— potentially A$9,000 in total — with additional relocation support
potentially available in some circumstances.
SOME KEY ELIGIBILITY POINTS
You may be a fit if you:
• are currently in Year 12 in 2026
• attend an eligible Australian public high school in a regional,
rural or remote area
• plan to study full-time at university or TAFE in 2027
• are experiencing financial, personal or other circumstances that
make further study more difficult
• can demonstrate commitment to your education and future career
• can provide a personal reference and obtain support from your school
Your school must meet the official regional/remote geographic
classification — simply living outside a major city may not be enough.
WHAT CAN THE FUNDING HELP WITH?
Depending on the approved circumstances, support may help with
education-related costs such as:
• course expenses
• textbooks and stationery
• laptop or necessary study equipment
• tutoring
• other approved study costs
Applications are competitive. Meeting the eligibility requirements
does not guarantee that funding will be awarded.
