30 days of Art and Craft Prompts for pre-schoolers
Let’s make some creative chaos (the good kind)
I created this planner to take the “what should we do today?” stress out of being at home with arty little ones (and to give you a reason to finally use those pom-poms and googly eyes you’ve been hoarding).
This planner is packed with 30 super-simple, low-prep art & craft prompts designed especially for children aged 3–5. You don’t need fancy supplies—just things you probably already have lying around: crayons, felt tips, old cereal boxes, stickers, pipe cleaners, paint, and whatever crafty bits and bobs are buried in your drawers.
What to expect:
- Messy moments? Sometimes! But nothing that requires a hazmat suit.
- Finished projects? Some will be masterpieces. Others might be a bit... abstract. That’s okay—it’s the doing that matters.
- Engaged kids? Most days, yes. Others, they might just want to poke the glue stick. That’s still a win.
How to use this planner:
- Pick a prompt each day (in any order—you’re the boss).
- Encourage your child to explore, imagine, and make it their own.
- Tick it off on the tracker page, stick it on the fridge, and give yourself a gold star too.
Why I made this:
As a mum and creative educator, I know how tricky it is to find time, space and ideas that actually work with real children. I wanted to make something that encourages play, imagination and skill-building—without you needing an art degree or a craft room the size of your kitchen.
