Advent

Here is a nice, chubby stocking to hang for St. Nicholas. It uses entrelac, some stranded, and some striped colorwork. This is a basic top down sock construction, so if you are familiar with that, it will be simple to make. And no second sock!

MC: 120 yards of worsted weight yarn
CC1: 110 yards of worsted weight yarn
CC2: 110 yards of worsted weight yarn

Sample used exactly this amount, the range above is to give you a little more breathing room.

Yarn weight: Worsted (9 wpi) 

Gauge: 22 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette

Needle size: US 5 - 3.75 mm

Yardage: 340 - 365 yards (311 - 334 m)
