An Invitation to Murder

Izzy Santos can't even take a vacation to Spain without dealing with a murder . . . or two.

Izzy Santos and her aunt Maggie are in Spain to celebrate the birthday of great-uncle Santiago del Castillo, who is as colorful and eccentric as the castle he built on his own island. Santiago gathers the whole extended family and promises them a special birthday surprise. The family is used to his pranks and macabre sense of humor, but this surprise sound too shocking even for him, but not as shocking as when he ends up dead.

They can't call the police because the island doesn't have cell service, the radio antenna is down, and help can't arrive anyway because of a raging storm. Izzy is left with the task of securing the crime scene, taking evidence, and keeping everyone safe with a murderer at large.

What should be a joyous occasion turns into the worst family reunion ever as Izzy, aided as always by Aunt Maggie, takes on the most challenging and dangerous murder mystery in her career.
