A 40-day journey into stillness, presence and meaning.

Founding presale · course opens 15 December 2026

There is a quiet place in you that has never been in a hurry.

Beneath the notifications, the to-do lists and the noise in your head, contemplative traditions have explored different ways of attending to silence, presence and meaning. INNER QUIET offers a way to begin your own practice, while respecting those differences. It is a guided 40-day practice for finding your way back there, gently and in the middle of an ordinary life.

What you'll practise

Ten four-day chapters, about 20–30 minutes a day, with shorter options for full days:

  1. Arriving: the stillness that is already here
  2. Presence: living where your life actually is
  3. Gratitude: learning to see the gift, without denying what's hard
  4. Awe and the sacred: wonder as a doorway to something larger
  5. The open heart: compassion for others and for yourself
  6. Meaning and calling: what is your life for?
  7. Nature as teacher: the living world as a place of prayer and attention
  8. Letting go: impermanence, trust and acceptance
  9. Belonging: practising with others
  10. A Rule of Life: a personal rhythm you can return to for years

Each chapter brings a teaching video, a guided audio practice, short daily exercises and a workbook chapter. Along the way you'll meet the traditions these practices come from, from Benedictine monks to Zen teachers, Sufi poets and Indigenous relationships to land, presented with respect and with sources.

Spiritual first, honest about the science

INNER QUIET is a spiritual journey, not a self-optimisation programme. Where research has something to say, a short Science Note tells you plainly what the studies show and how strong the evidence is. For example, in an experience-sampling study (Killingsworth & Gilbert, 2010), mind-wandering was reported in 46.9% of sampled moments and was associated with lower happiness. That was observational research, not a test of INNER QUIET: context for curiosity, not proof that this course improves happiness.

You don't need to be religious or have any meditation experience. You only need a willingness to begin, and to begin again.

Questions

Is this religious? It draws on many contemplative traditions without asking you to adopt any of them, and it is clear about where each practice comes from.

Is it therapy? No. INNER QUIET is educational and contemplative. It isn't therapy, diagnosis or medical advice, and it doesn't promise healing or specific outcomes. If practice ever increases distress, pause and seek qualified support. The course includes a page of support resources.

I've never meditated. Is that OK? Yes. Every practice has a gentle, shorter option, and you can keep your eyes open, move, or stop at any time.

How much time does it take? About 20–30 minutes on a full day, with 3–10-minute alternatives.
