Spring lantern crochet cardigan

This oversized Boho style crochet cardigan is worked in one large piece, then just sew the side seams and work a quick edging around the neckline and sleeves and it’s ready to wear!

It's the perfect transeasonal cardigan to wear in Spring and Autumn and has an easy 3 row pattern repeat ( link to pattern to a video tutorial for pattern rows ) in long treble stitches, so it works up super fast ! You could also use it as a beach cover up over your swimsuit in summer.

The pattern is currently written for sizes XS -2XL

This pattern will also soon on the Hobbii yarn website in a number of languages.

Pattern includes many photos and a link in pattern to a video to show you the easy three row repeat and a printable text only version.

stitches used : single crochet, treble crochet

MATERIALS

YARN : Hobbii Friends 8/4 cotton yarn or similar 100% cotton fingering weight yarn ( see below for yardage )

HOOK : 4.00 mm for cardigan ( or hook size needed to meet gauge ) 3.00 mm for edging

NOTIONS : Tapestry needle/ scissors/ stitch markers 

YARDAGE (above)

Sizes XS -S needs 7 - 8 skeins 

Sizes M - L needs 10 skeins

Sizes XL -2XL needs 12-14 skeins
