A grandfather-grandson hike ends at a vista of the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse in northwestern Oregon. The inquisitive, scientific-minded lad has many questions about the shuttered, abandoned, off-shore beacon on a perfect summer day. There's a strange symmetry to the numerical answers.
