The Woodland Cardigan was originally designed for Issue #39 ofKnit Now Magazine. In my neighbourhood, I am much more likely to spot porcupine and hares than hedgehogs and rabbits. However, despite my Canadian prairie upbringing, my childhood imagination was populated with English woodlands, thanks to RoaldDahl and C.S. Lewis, among others.This cardigan is infused with memories of the imaginary woodland strolls of my childhood.
