A Ride into Time

A Ride into Time is a time-travel adventure story featuring Felicity Lucinda O'Brien - Flo for short! This is a chapter book that's ideal for 8-11 year-olds. It's long enough to tell a good story for keen readers, but short enough to entertain and keep the interest of readers who are just getting into books.

This is the first book in the Slipping Through Time series, although all the books can be read as standalone adventures.

Flo is so bored! She can’t think of anything she wants to do. Her brothers are playing boring football and her mum and dad are doing boring things around the house. Worse still, her best friends are all busy doing exciting things. So, when Flo's mum says she’ll take her pony trekking, Flo is super excited. It's not long before she’s at the stables meeting a gorgeous pony called Joker and joining a group of riders to explore the countryside. But as they ride through a dark wood, Joker is frightened by something and rears up. Flo loses the reins and falls to the ground, unconscious. When she wakes up, she’s alone in a desert and very confused. Where is she and how will she find her way back home?
