NYXARA #1: The Fairest Corpse

The Queen got the heart.

The dwarfs got the corpse.

The prince who woke her was not kind.

Snow White does not wake to a kiss. She wakes in the glass with a new name — Nyxara — and a list.

Issue One of The Blade and the Mirror follows the last day of the girl the mirror would not stop naming: the Woodsman who would not take her heart, the cottage that called itself safety, the apple that finished the job, and the Prince of Darkness who opened the lid. By morning the fairest is gone. What climbs out of the coffin is something the kingdom has no story for.

A dark gothic revenge fairy tale. Painted interiors. Implied horror, not a children’s book.
