Be Brave - even if you’re not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference

I was talking to my 6-year-old son about being brave, he was asking me what it meant to be brave, I asked what he thought. He told me that he thought it was never being scared and that he did not think he could ever be brave. I sat him on my lap and told him that bravery is not doing something without fear, it is just doing it anyway, even if you are scared.

We often tend to think of bravery as running into burning buildings to save people or doing something big and heroic. But I think with the pressure, stress and anxiety we all face in life, that sometimes being brave is just getting out of bed.

Wherever you are in life’s journey I encourage you to be brave, do little things that frighten you, not without fear, but to make sure that you don’t let the chance to live every moment pass by because the fear holds you back.

The length is very customizable, more info below.

Notes:

This wrap/shawl is very customizable. All the sections start with the same stitch count, so you could make a section shorter or longer as you choose and it will not affect the instructions for the next section, it, however, ever affect your overall yardage. You can also move sections or colours around to suit yourself. Be Brave and make something you love.

The version that I have done is very long, as I wanted a very warm winter wrap that I could wind around my neck a few times.
