Black, Pretty, and Confident Introduction:
Look at the cover of this book before starting. I chose this cover with the most beautiful cherry lips because the focus is on self-confidence in self. Black women lips have long been criticized; it has now become a symbolism of beauty essential. All other cultures seek out support this day to get what God naturally gave Black girls. The lips symbolize the mouthpiece of our outer projections of self through our own words. Words spoken by us and resonated through us all pass through the lips. Speak life into atmosphere. Repeat this affirmation out of your lips “ I am unique from head to toe with none other like me”. “I am Black, Pretty, and Confident!
