Christmas Art Lesson Santas Elf Art Project Christmas Art Activity
In this Christmas Elf Art Project, students combine ripped paper, oil pastel and pattern work to create their own Santa's elf. It is a festive, hands-on holiday lesson for art teachers, classroom teachers and homeschoolers.
Students draw, rip, cut and color to bring their elf to life. The textured ripped-paper background adds an extra layer of detail, so every finished piece looks a little different.
