STRV 122+

The Stridsvagn 122 “Strv 122+” refers to an upgraded Swedish version of the Leopard 2A5, enhanced with additional protection and modern systems. It features reinforced armor, including improved top and frontal protection, making it more resilient against mines and anti-tank threats. Retaining the 120mm smoothbore gun and advanced fire-control systems, the 122+ also includes updated electronics and communications for better battlefield awareness. Overall, it is one of the most heavily protected and refined Leopard 2 variants in service.
