SM7B EQ Profile for SM57

This is the Fab Filter PRO-Q 3 EQ-matched Shure SM7B preset for the Shure SM7B. As you may know, Fab Filter's PRO-Q 3 plugin ships with a powerful built-in EQ-Match feature. But, not everyone can afford to get their hands on a genuine Shure SM7B to create their own EQ-Match profile for their far less expensive and widely owned Shure SM57. So, I went ahead and made one for you. 

While it is quite impossible to EXACTLY recreate the SM7B sound due to the body shape & size, cartridge variations, and internal suspension that is present in the SM7B, one can get pretty close. This is as close as Pro-Q 3 is bringing me.

To load this preset in PRO-Q 3:

-Download the "SM7B Profile for SM57.ffp" preset and take note of where you've saved it

-Launch the PRO-Q 3 plugin inside your favorite DAW

-Click on the PRESETS button at the top and slight right of PRO-Q 3

-Click OPTIONS and then OPEN OTHER PRESET

-Navigate to where you've saved the "SM7B Profile for SM57.ffp" and add it.
