It was an ordinary Friday evening when Keri decided to tidy up her house. She turned on some classical music and began vacuuming the living room, humming along with the symphonies. Her grown-up son Rick was at a party with his friends, so the place was all hers.

Lost in her cleaning reverie, Keri didn't notice the mysterious, swirling vortex that suddenly materialized before her. It crackled with electric energy and glowed in hues of violet and indigo. Before she could react, a blinding flash lit up the room and Keri felt herself being engulfed by an unseen force...

When the light faded, Keri found herself standing exactly where she had been - but something was very different. The furniture looked child-sized compared to her! Running to the nearby mirror, Keri gasped at her reflection - she had shrunk down to the height of a snail, no more than 2 inches tall!

"Rick!" she cried out, her tiny voice sounding like a squeak. "Help!"

But Rick was still out, and the house felt enormous around her. Gingerly, Keri stepped onto the plush carpet, marveling at the forest of fibers towering over her. She needed to get to the phone to call for help.

Keri's journey across the room was arduous, using the furniture and decorations as her guide. She had nearly made it to the kitchen when she heard the front door open...
