The Plan (Comedy Speech)

Original monologue written and performed by Alexandre Ross.

Mark is infatuated with a work colleague and wants to ask her out but is worried about how she will respond to his advances.

The idea behind this piece was to have a comedic scene that featured very
clear opportunities for a change in action. When constructing the scene I
found it easier to add a second character before the speech, creating a build
up and context.

I decdied to play around with the script when performing it and improvised off my text. You can see my performance on this page.
