Duplicate Photo Finder — I've got the same photo four times and my drive is full.?
Two kinds of duplicate, kept apart on purpose: files that are identical byte for byte, which is a fact, and photos that merely look the same, which is a guess. It reads every byte on your own machine, marks which copy to keep, and deletes nothing.
WHAT YOU GET
- A real SHA-256 fingerprint of every file — same fingerprint, same file, no maybe
- Resized and re-saved copies found by a 64-bit picture fingerprint
- Guesses and certainties never mixed together in the same list
- Marks the biggest version KEEP and gives you a text report with full paths
- Cannot delete anything, on purpose — you do that where there's an undo
HOW IT WORKS
1. Point it at a folder of photos — Drag the whole folder in. Nothing is uploaded.
2. Choose how fussy to be — Only changes the look-alikes; identical files are found either way.
3. Download the list — Then do the deleting yourself, in your own file manager.
One file. Double-click it and it opens in the browser you already have — Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. Nothing to install, no account, no subscription.
Nothing you type ever leaves your computer. There is no server involved, which is why it still works with the wi-fi switched off.
30-day refund, no questions asked.
