Celebrating Winter Holidays  by Margaret Brewer  
 
A thematic unit for grades 4-6, which can be adapted for use with older and younger students.
This unit consists of information cards, work sheets and activity cards about four winter holidays: Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year.  The activity cards consist of creative writing, research, social studies, art and drama activities.
Suggestions for using the unit, tracking sheets, record sheets, peer and self evaluation sheets and a list of resources are also included.   (100 pages)
