"Entering the political arena, we find men of all heights occupying the benches of the House of Commons. It is hard to say, without actual measurement, whether Sir William Harcourt or Mr. Hanbury is the tallest member, but probably this distinction lies with the old parliamentary hand, whose massive frame and powerful voice are fully worthy of his imposing height. The smallest M .P . is undoubtedly Mr. Pat O ’Brien , the well-known member for Kilkenny City . But, though his figure is inconspicuous, in all other respects Mr. O ’Brien is most emphatically “ all there."
