I love a good colorwork pattern. What I don’t love is trying to combine it with all the shaping that happens in a circular yoke. And in a pattern using 3 colors each round? Forget it.
That’s why I flipped this sweater on its head. The yoke is a simple, classic raglan with minimal fuss—just a few short rows to drop the front of the neckline. All the colorwork has been shifted to the bottom of the body, where you can work it in peace, after all the shaping is done. It drops neatly into this a-line shaped pullover, which is finished off with wide, elbow-length sleeves, pulling the whole 60s-mod-inspired piece together. Grab your 3 favorite colors and get started! (Twiggy eye makeup optional.)
Your pattern purchase includes an exclusive sweater planner to help you choose the right size and the right yarn, and guide you through swatching and gauge!
