The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 July to 2 August 2026.

Around 74 nations and territories from the Commonwealth will take part. Thousands of athletes will compete for medals in exciting sports such as athletics, swimming, cycling and netball.

This year's Games are smaller than previous Commonwealth Games. Glasgow is using many of the same stadiums and swimming pools from the 2014 Games to save money and help protect the environment.

The Commonwealth Games celebrate friendship, respect, fair play and doing your very best.
