Fossilized dinosaur footprints … or a parade of tulips? You can decide what you see in this lacy crescent shawl.

Dinosaur Crossing is worked sideways from one tip to the opposite tip. A wide lace and cable border swoops along the bottom of the shawl while garter stitch rows form a small body along the top. Easy short rows help to create the crescent shape.

Instructions are included for two shawl sizes. The beginning and ending of both sizes are the same.

All instructions are both written and charted.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished shawl.
