Forbidden Classics unearths a devastating new sonic artifact — a phantom transmission from 1971 English underground rock, dropping the listener straight into an eccentric parish slowly slipping into something nobody can quite name. Fêtes that run backwards. A pond that reflects a sky that isn't there. A vicar who sees everything. A steeple that leans a little more each year.

This is the first installment in what's shaping up to be an ongoing series — the parish has more corners than one album can hold, and we're not done exploring it yet.
