June Tranmer is the PHA Ambassador for Children, Teens and Young Adults, Acupuncturist, Touch for Health Instructor, Doula, Wellbeing in York Director, Mentor, and regular contributor to PHA Wellbeing Wednesday and PHA Roundtables.

Touch for Health was created in the 1970's by a group of chiropractors to integrate their knowledge about the muscular structure of the body with the Chinese Medicine principles of energy flow in and around the body. They wanted to help their patients to help themselves so they didn't always need to visit "experts" to fix them. The full system involved asking the body directly what it needs and is unique in this aspect, although lots of other modalities have evolved from these humble beginnings.

June prefers to stay with the basic and simple original techniques that have helped her and her family and patients over the past 40 years. The techniques are simple. easy to use and provide a great foundation to your daily routine which can keep you balanced in daily life, when there are so many things disrupting your energy. If you do these techniques you can recover more quickly from unbalancing influences and understand your body / energy better to make the best use of both.

June has been a Touch for Health Instructor since 1986 and regularly holds online short classes in self-care and children's wellbeing, in addition to full Touch for Health trainings in person. June is passionate about sharing self-care skills with as many people as possible.
