Networking OS for law students - Notion template

Stop losing track of the people who could shape your legal career.

You meet a mentor at a mixer, grab coffee with an alum, get great advice from a partner at a conference... and three months later you cannot remember their name, what you talked about, or whether you ever followed up. Sound familiar?

Networking OS for Law Students is a fully connected Notion system built specifically for law students who are serious about building a professional network that actually works for them.

What is inside:

People - Your central contact hub. Track status, priority tier, how you met, preferred contact method, and see at a glance which relationships need attention.

Organizations - Every firm and company you are building relationships with, linked directly to your contacts there.

Conversations - Log every meaningful interaction, its purpose, and how it went, so you always remember the context before your next chat.

Events - Plan and reflect on mixers, webinars, and conferences with cost, format, registration deadlines, and outcome notes.

Follow-up/Actions - Never forget a promised email or LinkedIn message again, with priority levels and due dates.

Feedback & Notes - Capture advice you receive and reflections from your research, tagged by topic so you can find them later.

Topics - One unified tag system connecting people, conversations, feedback, and notes by legal practice area, career skill, or personal development focus.

Who this is for:

• 1L, 2L, and 3L students building a professional network from scratch
• Students prepping for OCI, clerkships, or summer associate positions
• Anyone tired of losing business cards and forgetting to follow up

Why it works:

This is not a static contact list. It is a relationship system. Every database talks to the others, so you can see your entire network, your history with each person, and what to do next, all in one place.

Duplicate it into your own Notion workspace, make it yours, and start building the network that gets you hired.
