The Apology Came With Groceries

Two bags of groceries.

One apology that finally leaves room for an answer.

The Apology Came With Groceries tells a tender, quietly funny story about taking responsibility—and staying long enough to listen.

He remembers the seeded bread. He overestimates the bananas. But the part that matters is his willingness to tell the truth, hear the hurt, and let her decide what comes next.

“I was wrong.

You were hurt.

I'm here to hear the rest.”

Through an intimate male-and-female exchange, a laugh and an unfinished conversation find room at the same kitchen sink.

A song about the care that follows the words—

and a beginning worth taking slowly.
