Mudsy The Mermaid
Growing up can be confusing, especially when you're the first one changing.
Mudsy has always loved being a mermaid, but lately she feels different from everyone else in her class. Her body is changing faster than her friends', and the teasing from other young seafolk makes her wish she could just fit in.
Even though Mudsy has a beautiful singing voice and a talent for underwater art, all she can see are the things that make her different.
With a little understanding from her mother, Mudsy begins to learn that growing up happens at different times for everyone—and that she doesn't have to face those changes alone.
Mudsy the Mermaid is a gently illustrated story about puberty, body image, bullying, and learning to accept yourself as you grow.
