Perhaps because of the shame this action deserves, history classes spend little time on the internment camps, if they mention them at all. This fictional short story attempts to capture some of what life in those camps might have been like.
This story was a finalist in the 2016 LIttle Tokyo Short Story Contest.

I'm trying an approach titled "Pay What You Want," because I trust my work. I know my stories are good. I also trust people to recognize that quality and pay what they think the story is worth. Also, I know how hard it is to judge new writers, so I want to make it easy for people to try my work.
