Onsen Mist is a study of a Japanese hot spring hidden beneath a veil of soft mist — distant forms dissolving into pale air, water settling below, and the landscape becoming quieter with every layer.

The composition is deliberately restrained. Soft mineral tones, hazy edges, and generous negative space create the feeling of standing somewhere warm and still, far removed from the noise of the everyday.

Inspired by Japanese onsen culture and the quiet beauty of landscapes obscured by mist, Onsen Mist is a piece about slowing down, disappearing into the moment, and allowing the world to become softer around you.

It belongs above a bed, beside a reading chair, in a quiet hallway, or anywhere you want to bring a sense of warmth and escape into the room.
