Still Here by Grace: A Stroke Survivor’s Journey of Faith, Healing, and Hope is Judith Dumorney-McDaniel’s powerful testimony of survival, resilience, and unwavering faith.

On September 24, 2025, Judith suffered an ischemic stroke while driving through Philadelphia. In an instant, her independence and sense of certainty were replaced by weakness, fear, and an unexpected road to recovery. Yet even in that frightening moment, God’s grace was already at work—sending a stranger to recognize the warning signs, call for help, and ultimately help save her life.

Judith openly shares her journey from being confined to a wheelchair to walking again, returning to work, driving, and reclaiming her independence. She reflects on the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges of recovery, as well as the love of family, friends, medical professionals, her sorority sisters, and her beloved Pomeranian, Ginger.

More than a stroke-survival story, Still Here by Grace is a celebration of second chances and a reminder that healing does not always happen quickly or in a straight line.
