Dynamo Tools Description

This package includes three Dynamo tools designed to automate room documentation workflows in Autodesk Revit, helping teams save time and improve drawing consistency.

1. Automatic 3D View Generator

The application analyzes the selected room boundaries and automatically creates a dedicated 3D view for each room. Each generated view is named and organized automatically to simplify project coordination and presentation workflows.

2. Automatic Room Plan & Sheet Generator

The application creates a separate plan view for each selected room, then automatically generates new sheets and places the corresponding room views onto the appropriate sheets. This tool significantly reduces manual documentation time and ensures consistent sheet organization across the project.

3. View Scale Adjustment Tool

The application automatically modifies the scale of selected views to best fit the sheet size. Users can filter views using selected initial letters or naming conventions, allowing quick and efficient scale management for large numbers of drawings.

Instructions for Use

• Download the Dynamo files and store them in a trusted shared location.
• Load the scripts into Dynamo Player within Revit.
• Select the required rooms or views as instructed by each tool.
• Click Run to execute the automation process.
