ZORVA #2: Draska Holds the Line

Draska must defend Red Canyon against a waking machine-host without using the forbidden lion-fire.

The lion-lights still burn along Red Canyon after the First Hunt. Korvak refuses to bring their fire home. When an army of faceless bronze and dead flesh marches from the Hermit Ruin, Draska makes her spear the wall.

The attackers are not a tribe. They are a forgotten cache controlled by fragments of an ancient intelligence. A shaman calls down the lion-fire, but Draska rejects its borrowed power. The canyon must stand on stone and blood.

After the battle, the dead are stacked into an outward-facing cairn. It is not a shrine. It is a warning. The next cairn is already listening.
