The Waters of the Vesdre – Oscar’s Notebook, Book 3 (ebook)

She was not the only one listening to the sky.

A few weeks after the Picasso’s return, someone slips into Oscar’s pocket a sheet of paper he should never have received. Two days later, an old radio ham from Ensival, whom the whole valley called Big, is found dead at the foot of Franchimont castle. In his pocket, the same newspaper clipping.

From Pepinster to the casemates of Theux, from the lion of the Gileppe to the old bridge at Polleur, Victor and Oscar, the extraterrestrial who never sleeps, follow the Vesdre upstream, through its fogs and its still-open wounds. At the end of the road lies an answer Oscar has been waiting three years for. What if Oscar was not the only castaway?

The third of Oscar’s notebooks: a mystery in the Vesdre valley, full of fog, floodwater and humor, where loyalty comes at a price.
