Personal use - Yellow Seahorse
The yellow seahorse (Hippocampus kuda) is a species known for its variable color, which can be yellow, but also black, brown, or orange, often with small spots or blotches. It has a horse-like head, a curved trunk, and a prehensile tail it uses to hold onto seagrass and other substrates, as it is a poor swimmer. Growing up to image.gif cm, these seahorses are found in the Indo-Pacific and are known for their monogamous relationships and the male's unique role in carrying the eggs in a pouch.
