Hands Held High
While Israel battles in the valley below, Moses stands on the hill with his hands lifted to God — but his arms grow tired. Aaron and Hur sit him on a stone and hold his hands high until the victory is won. Children learn that helping hands are holy work: nobody has to stand alone, and holding up a tired friend is something God honors. Drawn from Exodus 17.
Written for children ages 6–12, this book has ten chapters, each with three illustrations (30 in all) and a "Do" activity and a "Pray" prayer to close. All Scripture is quoted from the King James Version (KJV). It ends with a Gospel Invitation that helps a child understand how to begin following Jesus, plus a note for grown-ups.
