🌟 Composer: Geoffrey Turton Shaw (1879–1943) was an English composer and musician known for his contributions to Anglican church music. A chorister at St Paul's Cathedral, Shaw was educated at Derby School and Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied with Sir Charles Stanford and Charles Wood. He held significant positions such as Director of Music at Gresham's School and Inspector of Music to the Board of Education. Shaw's legacy includes choral works, anthems, hymn tunes, and more.
