Pobasso and the cucumbers
It’s Australia…. but not as you know it.
Based long before European Settlement. We follow the adventures of Pobasso, a young Macassan fisherman in a Macassan fishing fleet, on his first expedition to Australia. He meets the First Nation People of the Top End.
He learns their language,
their culture,
and together they collect and prepare sea cucumbers for export to China.
Along the way, Pobasso discovers the Rainforest, the Reef and build friendships with the locals as they harvest and prepare the cucumbers.
