Art Grimoire (solo rpg + art journal)

Art Grimoire is a game and an art journal. You will be guided in creating a character who is a sorcerer in a weird, and often silly, cult. The game is creating the sorcerer's grimoire.

Using dice and a deck of playing cards (no Jokers), you will get prompts that give you enough direction that you could simply do exactly what the prompts and instructions say. For someone who wants to get a little more creative with their sorcerer's grimoire, there's plenty of room to approach the prompts your own way. With the way things are randomized and different art styles, no two grimoires will be the same.

Rather than following a defined story, you build a world and story by creating things from your character's point of view. Keep building the grimoire as long as you wish! It's easy to walk away from for a while and come back without losing track of where you are.

Engaging with the Mysteries of the grimoire changes your sorcerer's sanity. There is a system for tracking that, and Mysteries have a different set of instructions for the times when sanity points fall into a certain range.

You will need a sketchbook, d6 and d20, deck of playing cards, and some extra paper for tracking sanity and sketching out some things before they go into the grimoire.
