What would you need to survive if you were stranded in the Amazon rainforest?

In this hands-on, 5-day family learning challenge, children become rainforest explorers as they investigate the environment, research plants and animals, solve survival problems, design solutions, respond to unexpected emergencies, and create a plan to find their way home.

The same big adventure works for multiple ages and learning levels. Younger children can observe, draw, build, and explain their ideas, while older learners can research, evaluate evidence, design systems, write, and defend their decisions.

Reading, writing, science, geography, STEM, communication, creativity, and problem-solving come together naturally through one shared experience.

The goal isn't to find the “right” survival plan. It's to notice, question, investigate, build, adapt, explain, and reflect—while giving every child a meaningful way to participate.
