Gortenzia - boat-neck sweater tunic
Downloadable PDF knitting pattern.
The Gortenzia sweater is a long-sleeved, tunic-length boat-neck sweater with textured knit pattern details on the shoulders, sleeves and sides. It is worked seamlessly from top to bottom, starting at the neckline. The saddle shoulder construction in this design is combined with contiguous construction to form the yoke and sleeve caps. The body of the sweater is worked with an A-line shape to the bottom hem. The front and back hemline are worked separately back and forth. After the body is finished, the sleeves are worked in rounds top down to the desired length and finished with cuffs in a pattern to match the hem.
