Hey! It's Nath(an). I am pleased to type that 'The Simple Critic: Series 1 of 1' - yes, I switched the hyphen with a colon because I kind of like the colon - is coming very soon!

Learning from other creative people's effective but overconfident marketing hype statements for their projects such as Doctor What - All the best to the show in the future, by the way - I will try to keep my excitement about my simple script and audio companion series controlled.

So,... where am I now?

Before 'The Simple Critic: Series 1 of 1' begins on 10th May at 12:00pm AEST with episode one, I thought to put together a relatively short or long audio-only special episode that could lead into the events that take place in episode one.

Also, previous promotional material released for 'The Simple Critic' and 'The Simple Critic: Series 1 of 1' shows a Rubik's cube and books which are not mentioned in the series and, furthermore, my brilliant brain counted a sixth episode which is not a thing in the series, so releasing 'Reading Time' collects two birds with one stone.

To conclude this section, I have some burning questions to ask myself:

Burning question one: What happens in this special episode?

'A grumpy man known as 'The Simple Critic' or T.S.C. for short can be seen sitting on his grassy lawn outside his American Craftsman-esc house.

He is reading his store-bought book on word etymology whilst waiting for something to happen. What is this something? And will this something be something that the everyman / everywoman waits for?'

Burning question two: How would you describe this special episode?

Possibly the beginning of something incredibly boring or exciting.
