Boombox Gift Box

The boombox is crafted entirely from cardstock, giving it a lightweight, handmade charm while still capturing the bold attitude of the classic design. Its boxy shape is carefully folded and layered, with crisp edges and visible seams that highlight the paper construction. The surface is decorated with printed details —speaker grills suggested by concentric circles, buttons and dials marked by shaded cutouts, and a cassette deck cut out.

Despite being made from paper, the boombox feels surprisingly dimensional. Raised panels add depth to the speakers, and small cardstock knobs protrude from the front, mimicking real controls. A sturdy, arched handle made from one layer of cardstock reinforcing the structure. Overall, the cardstock boombox blends creativity and nostalgia, turning a simple material into a playful, sculptural tribute to a retro sound system.

The boombox will open into a gift box for storing fun things or filling with goodies.
