It is said that the Norse god Odin sacrificed an eye in order to be allowed to drink from the well of knowledge.
Could it be that we are now learning that through sacrifice we can gain a new perception of the world around us?
These toe-up socks are designed to be quick since they use DK-weight yarn. They are a mirror image of each other with a simple cable going from toe the toe and expanding seamlessly into the cuff.

The socks have a bit of negative ease and the leg portion can easily be knit in any length. If you only have 100 grams of yarn available, it is wise to divide it in half by weight to make the most out of your yardage.

The cast-on used is a Figure-8 Cast-on. The pattern contains a link to a tutorial.

The original yarn for this pattern (DK Merino Sock or MCN DK) can be found at Enchanted Forest Fibers.
