Height: approx 50 cm/20”.
Length along I-cord edge: approx 155 cm/62”.
Yarn
3 skeins of Aran Silky Merino by Sundara Yarn: 50% silk, 50% merino; 200 yards/100 grams. Sample made in colorway Cobalt over Mediterranean.
Needles
5 mm/US #8 circular or straight needles, or size necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions
3 stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
14 sts and 28 rows over 10 cm/4” in Garter Stitch worked flat with needle 5 mm/US #8 (after washing).
16 sts and 22 rows over 10 cm/4” in Stockinette Stitch worked flat with needle 5 mm/US #8.
Take time to save time - check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Exact gauge is not essential. However, any differences may result in different finished measurements and yardage requirements.
